An interview with Jeff Ewert, who spend decades incarcerated in federal prisons, and is president of the Canadian Prison Labour Confederation and Asaf Rashid, criminal defence, prison lawyer and co-author of Solidarity Beyond Bars: unionizing prison labour. The interview took place before the Annual Proulx Roundtable (held on April 1), a panel at McGill Law School: “Made in Canadian Prisons: an urgent discussion about prison labour in Canada.”
